WHO WE ARE

The Moraes Dossier is a civic, independent, and collaborative archive—simultaneously serving as an observatory, monitor, and guardian of Brazilian Law—in an effort to systematically document the abuses by Justice Alexandre de Moraes that confront fundamental guarantees and the rule of law in Brazil, with the ultimate purpose of substantiating an eventual impeachment request.

Conceived at a time of the greatest institutional instability since 1964, this dossier gathers contributions from citizens, jurists, journalists, data analysts, and elected representatives who do not back down from institutional pressures. We record episodes of persecution affecting everyone from the elderly and hairdressers to major business leaders and Republic senators.

The initiative is led by Economics professor, lawyer, and Curitiba city councilman Rodrigo Marcial, and the project has the support of pioneers—Senator Eduardo Girão, Federal Deputy Marcel van Hattem, Federal Deputy Gilson Marques, former Republic prosecutor and former Federal Deputy Deltan Dallagnol, economist Marina Helena, journalist and writer Leandro Narloch, Curitiba city councilors Guilherme Kilter and Indiara Barbosa, former state deputy Homero Marchese, lawyers Ricardo Alexandre da Silva, André Marsiglia, Kátia Magalhães, Bernardo Santoro Pinto Machado and Jeffrey Chiquini, the Software Engineer Paulo Henrique Silva as well as the national president of Novo Jovem, Isadora Piana.

All published material utilizes official documents, judicial orders, and parliamentary records, grounded in historical milestones for human rights, from the Magna Carta (1215) to the Global Magnitsky Act (2016). Our purpose is to preserve the memory of these cases and provide society with elements to evaluate, demand accountability, and correct course.

The Dossier is non-partisan, open-access, and continuously updated by the community. If you have identified errors or gaps in our records, or if you have verifiable information or have been the target of an abusive measure, please send us your report below.
